Hi,
A backlight exchange is not easily possible with LG-Philips 16:10 panels.
The TFT module, the inverter board and the backlights fit together in a
sealed enclosure. I have replaced the 12 CCFL backlights of a LG Philips 23"
for a small series (180 pcs) in the past (the same as used in the Cinema 23)
and the costs for the material have been quite high with approx. 50% of a
new unit price (not to note the labour costs). So, I donĀ“t think it makes
any sense to exchange the backlights. Better get a new unit.
