Hallo,
Derrick described the way correctly.
He just forgot one step in the setup (see below).
Am 11.10.2007 um 21:31 schrieb Derrick Brown:
If you want to profile through Capture One set up this
way................
In the grey balance window choose a profile called "Phase One No
Color Correction"
Capture your target with your preferred target.
Then from the "Process window", choose "embed camera profile"
Set the curve to "linear".
The default setup in CaptureOne is "film curve"
Once processing is completed you will be left with either a tiff or
jpeg in its native bitmapped state "through the raw converter"(more
or less characterizing the raw converter behavior) without
additional color transforms having been done on your target capture.
Once youve built your profile you can "re-launch" Capture One and
go to your prefs for the specific camera your client is working
with and choose that profile for the default.
When this camera is plugged into Capture One this profile should
now be loaded in the grey balance window by default.
Best regards,
Clemens Beisch
