Well during real world usage of the Spyder2 years ago I too noted
Consistancy.
When I purchased it all was well with it until a few months had passed, and
then it consistantly produced a screaming yelo cast.
It was replaced and the new unit consistantly exhibited a Magenta cast.
I had 3 of them, one that was going back, the new unit and a 3rd from someone
else and they all exhibited a different cast....consistant ????
It was then tossed into a drawer and replaced with an EyeOne Pro and Monaco
Which is what we use currently without issues.
Sorry but you can keep the Spyder's and I have a few I can give back !
