So according to your unbiased opinion Andrew that would make this
functionality a total waste of time in the following products:
ColorEyes Display
Basiccolor
Monaco Optix Pro
oh gosh, even the Radius Press View?????? ( I remember the days of
seminars that this was even touted by your peers)
and others.............
Dump the chip Andrew, not all users get their instruments for free
(im not mentioning any names, am I?)
The tool is at least a somewhat reasonable point of reference for a
user base that cant afford to purchase, rent , own or beg to borrow a
spectroradiometer!
To support David Tobies comment further, we have users of all the
popular instruments out there and the most reliability comes from the
DTP94 users. Spyder 2 Pro users, as a whole, have a much higher
degree of unit repeatability than they are given credit for.
Now if you went on sheer volumes of instruments out there, SPyder2
would eclipse EVERYBODY so why on our forums would they not be the
most problematic? Even if you simply played the %'s?????? Maybe you
should reflect on that a bit.
Im confident you will not, you will likely just distort the subject
further.
Have a really nice day.

You mean the feature in the software which uses the same instrument
to gauge
the so called accuracy of the process? Seems totally silly.
Lets pull out a $20K spectroradiometer and test both the instrument
(s) and
the process OK? Otherwise, this is a waste of time.
