1. How many times do I have to run your validation to feel good, why doesn't
the product provide the targets I've asked for from the get-go?




Its color management, it depends.
What target you ask for may give you poor results but you can still ask for it.
Now mind you (since you are asking ME) there are accommodations in ColorEyes to "tolerance" both white and black. If they fall outside what you are asking for we stop midstream and tell you so and give you a choice to change or continue.


If you ask for something reasonable, then the simple answer is once. But then im making assumptions here which i prefer not to do.
If you opt for a DDC aware display you wont even have to pre- calibrate it before profiling it. : )
