Well, I have tried to follow the CIE recommendation, which is to
upsample to 1nm spacing, and then used a simple box integration.
The upsampling uses a 3rd order polynomial for input spacings worse
than 5nm, and linear interpolation for inputs with 1nm to 5nm spacing.
