Keep in mind that the tolerances of ISO 12647-7 are meant to allow for inter
instrument dis-agreement.
I calibrate our Epsons with CGS with a DTP70 and typically get around .5
average and 3 max DE. If I then read a control strip made with that fresh
calibration into the certified proof software with an eye-one, my average
numbers are noticeably higher, sometimes above 1.0.
