I've personally seen that happen on several Eye One Displays. Unfortunately I've also seen 4-6 that were as bad when brand new, out of the box. With this record I just can't recommend that product.

I have yet to see an Optix perform badly, including one of mine that is 4 years old and calibrates a good 20+ displays and goes through TSA Xray machines several times a week. The foam rings eventually goes soft and break apart, so it would be nice if XRite would sell us replacement foam rings for our otherwise trusty and reliable DTP94s.
