Don't underestimate most people's ability to shun anything they don't
understand.
Sure it works. Sure it's a mature proven technology. Sure it will save
time and money.
That still doesn't mean people will accept it or use it.
Frankly it just means all the more work for you and me and allows us
to differentiate our work from those that don't. This is an advantage
we should not underestimate or be quick to teach our competitors. As
much as you want to stand on the mountaintop and preach the gospel of
color management it only serves to bring your competitors up to your
level of expertise.
Maybe I'm a little too competitive, but I'm more than willing to let
my competition wallow in ignorance while I reap the benefits of this
technology.
Cheers,
Curtis

I know; we could fill up this forum with horror stories like this.
And frankly, no matter how much standards improve there will always
be such problems. Everyone has to decide for himself when to cut
loose a customer, or a printer.
Exactly. And if more of us did that, enough of these stubborn
donkeys may just sober up, eventually -- wake up and smell those
sweet color-managed roses.
