Projecting Images on D-Cinema

  • Thread-topic: Projecting Images on D-Cinema

Hello. I need to project a bunch of images on a D-Cinema projector. The
projector can be calibrated to either the D-Cinema spec or Rec. 709 (which
is basically sRGB‹is that correct?). My question is if someone can recommend
the best way to convert my images for best viewing (assume a custom ICC
calibration is not possible at this time). Is simply converting to the color
space enough or will I need to incorporate some sort of appearance model to
account for the image being projected in a dark room?

Also, does someone have an ICC profile that can convert from standard spaces
like Adobe RGB (1998) to the D-Cinema space? I will eventually investigate
all this myself but I have a rather short deadline so I was hoping someone
else has been down this road already and could help.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
