Thanks for so much advice everyone.
I've already tried creating a new user account but i1Match still crashes
even when running under this pristine account.
X-rite do not have a community forum but they do make it easy to contact
tech support, which I did on Monday. Thier first reply was a standard "check
your permissions". Then someone else contacted me asking for the crash
report, I've had no reply since then. To be fair, my i1Display is 4 years
old so it's good of X-rite to be looking into this.
I started Onyx to repair databases, run maintenance scripts and all the
rest. Onyx detected a corrupt preference file which may be something to do
with the problem:
****************************************************************
/Users/martin/Library/Preferences/com.raeservices1.date.plist:
XML parser error:
Unexpected character at line 1
Old-style plist parser error:
Unexpected character '0x5' at line 1
****************************************************************
Bizarrely, there is no file called com.raeservices1.date.plist in my
preferences folder...
