Color *is* our perception by definition (and not the physical stimulus).
In this respect, the statement "color is greatly influenced by the
colors around it" /is/ exactly true IMHO.
If possible, Dear Mr. X-Rite, could you make the slide in the ColorBasic
video, towards the end, where you have a ColorChecker chart with two patches
of green being illuminated differently, available in high resolution, for
educational purposes?

public domain.
