Hi Peter
I had a similar issue with Coloreyes Display in a multi user Mac
environment. Not sure if our solution is applicable to Eye One Match but
worth a try...
The Coloreyes software writes a Plist (preferences) file that 'belongs' to
the admin user and resides in their home folder - other users don't have
permission to read it so the LUTLoader app. crashes when it tries to run
under a non-admin account.
It was solved by moving the 'plist' file up a directory level so that it
becomes system wide (and changing ownership and permissions accordingly).
On our sytem the monitor profiling is carried out by us and we need all
users (network homes) of a given workstation to be able to access the
profile made for that workstation.
Why some software developers don't consider large numbers of users in
networks beats me - I would of thought that is where the money is...
Rob.
