I think that with Gutenprint you can print raw, even raw without device
color maps. I'm not sure that many people would find the interface easy
though.
That's correct (you can even omit any form of linearization or even
density correction; if you really want to you could use big ink drops
at 5760x2880 if you want to create a soggy mess inside the printer and
use up an entire cartridge on one page). We don't have a general
purpose front-end application (RIP) for actually doing this, though.
At least not right now.
