Sorry Chris, you do IF your goal is to view the original image while you
edit (otherwise, the edits update the new view, you've lost the original
reference).
What we need is something more akin to how Lightroom handles before and
after's whereby the before can be fixed in color appearance. Also, in some
cases, I may not want the before preview to have the simulation while I do
want the soft proof copy to have it on. Maybe a button or option for New
View that doesn't update the edit? It keeps the view as a true "before".
