SWOP2006_Coated5v2 is based on 60# Monterey Gloss, which is the
replacement for the old #60 Textweb. The shade of this paper is not a
perfect match for the European lightweight coated papers used by the
large US publishers today, and some people feel this dataset with a
modified white point works well:
L*90
a*0
b*2.5
Thank you. So both SWOP2006_Coated3 and SWOP2006_Coated5 are LWC papers
and -- to abstract away from the white point -- both are soonest
comparable to <http://color.org/fogra28.xalter> (paper type 3), am I right?
