one of my clients asked for a simple solution to print files > 30000px. They usually print from Photoshop

Canon's Photoshop plug-in does it as would many RIPs. And if you feel like a big hassle you can chop the image into multiple segments and place them onto multiple pages in InDesign and print them all seamlessly side-by-side with Epson's "Banner No Margins" and "Save Paper" options.
