Thank you, Peter. It's good to hear this "straight from the horse's mouth",
so to speak. I've been wondering whether the L*a*b* definitions for spot
colors in the Swatches panel/palette in InDesign and Illustrator were being
routed via conversion through the document's color space or instead were
kept independent from it and only converted directly to the output space.
I will do some tests to verify this for myself. Thank you again.
