Hi All
I have a question regarding section 4.2.2 of 12647-7.
Specifically, the part referring to variation of colour across a proof. It
states that nine measeurement locations are required evenly spaced across
the the test object, and refers to 5.2.4. In 5.2.4, it specifies three
different sets of CMYK values that are to be measured.
The questions I have are:
1. Are the measurements to be done across the sheet, or down as well, ie is
it nine across only, or three by three?
2. are the three sets of CMYK values to have nine measurements each (so you
end up with 27 measurements) of is it three measurements for each set of
values?
I¹m guessing that what is required is three separate pages each covered in
one of the defined tint values, each of which is then measured nine times in
a 3x3 manner, but I just want to check. If anyone knows, I¹d appeciate the
help.
Thanks, Bee
