Hello Edward,
The percentage calculates the coverage area for each color.
It is like calculating the image surface area and then calculate the
surface each color is covering on that image surface area. The
calculate the percentage comparison.
This is simply to compare a before and after ink coverage per color.

i've been looking at PerfX Image Ink comparisons with great interest
& have
become a little curious about the arithmeticwhat the percentages mean
exactly.
are standard formulae used? otherwise, if it is ethical to enquire
(i.e. it's not a guarded
secret), may we know something about the computations used to generate
the values?
