HI
I have been told that due to the greater circumference of FM dots in total
for a given dot area, the optical dot gain in higher for FM screens.
This could mean that after TVI adjustments the physical dot size is smaller
then AM, but with the greater optical dot gain a similar appearance is
created?
This would result in less ink used at the correct ink film
weight/Lab/densities....
