you've hit the nail on the head: it is just this variety i hope(d) to
elicit.
You will probably need to simply establish a “standard” for your
application and then decide to stay consistent.
ISO 3664 gives guidelines, but this is not what i'm after. the
parameter exists &,
should they wish, a user may adjust it—creature comfort. the question
is, still,
are there identifiable neutrals which might serve as presets, or
intelligent starting
points?
There really isn’t any background that is “better” than others, just
“different”.
which is tantamount to saying that you could never wish to adjust this
parameter & if
such a feature existed you would not use it. if all share your
viewpoint the feature is
over finical—which is also a useful conclusion!
