Depending on what your needs are, you will likely run into problems trying
to automate conversions using ColorsyncScripting, Image Events, sips, and
ImageMagick. I recently tried to automate conversions with scripting and
finally gave up deciding it would be easier to just run a batch action from
Photoshop.
