I will give your suggestion a try.
The difference between the two software systems really comes as a
surprise to me.
Perceptual rendering intent is not standardized, as you can see in the
different choices you have even in one and the same software. So it
shouldn´t come as a suprise that different programs give you different
results.
I always thought for many years that the Gretag Macbeth products
were the top of the line. Have I been a dupe of advertising, or has
the fact the ProfileMaker has been upgraded in a number of years the
cause?
ProfileMaker´s roots are in the mid-90s, basICColor technology is
based on 15 years of experience, but done from scratch in this
millenium.
