K2 Yellow Filter reversal?

I thought I'd pose this to the color theory experts...

A friend shot a landscape image in color but forgot to remove her K-2 yellow filter so now the image has a <filtered> yellow cast to it. Since the K-2 filter has a specific function (more suited to B&W photos), is there a formula that can reverse the effect and bring back a "natural" color to the image? I don't know my color math to figure this out using Photoshop. I've tinkered with it, but am not making any headway. Is this a futile effort? I hope one of our geniuses (genii?) has an answer.

Thanks - Jurgen
