Hi
I totally agree with Roger, eciRGBv2 is a good space for onward conversion
to ISO CMYK profiles.
I have a auction house customer using Leaf DCB's and we changed a few months
ago from Adobe RGB to eciRGB v2 as the working RGB space and ISO coated v2
ECI to ISO coated v2 basicolor for CMYK.
The improvements in colour capture in eciRGB in the reds and oranges were
very apparent and the change to the Basicolor Fogra 39 CMYK profile showed
improvements in rendering of saturated blues and reds in CMYK, so the client
was very happy.
It is a shame that the eciRGB cannot be used in ACR, but in this case the
Leaf Capture software can use any 'output' profile.
