Unless you're "sharing" opinions about Adobe or the partisan views of
their alpha-testing fan club.
Adobe's programmers are beyond criticism.
Even the team that were responsible for InDesign's PDF features.
Accurate colours and standards compliance? -- that obviously doesn't
appeal to Adobe's user base.
Their user base seems to require a drop-down menu that says "Don't
convert" but then DOES convert the colours of all of your images anyway!
They also want content boxes that move about the page dependent on
what combination of printer's marks you specify!
To suggest that these "problems" have something to do with sloppy
programming or commercial concerns would show just how unscientific my
views are. But even Sir Isaac would be wondering why he was still
printing to Postscript and Distilling to get a trustworthy PDF in CS3?
Maybe they'll fix InDesign in CS4 and I'll be so happy that I'll buy
the whole Crock o' Suite over again...
