Whatever the specific implementation, it doesn't affect my (pretty
straightforward) point that *if* DNG profiles had some technological
advantage by design, the fact that they don't provide better results
than other profiles in my testing would actually make them look worse,
not better. This was just a hint to Chris that pointing out how well
DNG profiles *should* perform theoretically doesn't exactly help the
position he argues for, at least not in the light of my measurement
results.
