Terry,
Live Picture did not use a proxy image for editing. It worked with the full
resolution image and edits were applied as mathematical layers, like
adjustment layers, but in Live Picture it could include brush strokes as
well. Then there was the necessary post-processing (sort of like a RIP for a
postscript file). In any case, it was by no means using proxies.
