Exactly. Spectrally, most of the patches on the CC 24 are linearly independent, which is not true of the larger targets. (This can be verified by doing an appropriate decomposition of the spectral data.)
Isn't the CC24 a subset of the CC SG?
If I remember correctly, the CC SG adds many additional patches, but few
(or no?) new pigments. Unfortunately I forgot where I read that.
