Speaking of ColorQuartet, is there anyone on the list who would know
if it's possible to still find a copy of it for OSX?

I have come to realize my comment also reflects a now irrelevant way
of categorizing scanners. Most of those legions of low-end scanner
users are quite happy. It's good enough for them despite all of
their limitations and absurd marketing claims simply taken as fact.
