To Mark's useful observations I would add that, as much as possible, one should avoid making any color-critical determinations based on what is seen on a laptop display, even one that is calibrated and profiled.
For color-critical decisions, always use a good-quality calibrated and profiled desktop monitor. One connected to your laptop would be fine too: just make sure to have a trusted colorimeter and your preferred profiling software with you.
