From memory, recommendations are around 2-3m (6-9ft), so the whole
screen is within the field of view of the eye-one.

Subject: Eye-One Beamer
Hello. This question is for anyone with experience using the Eye-One
Beamer
to profile a projector. I don¹t know if I have all the
documentation, but I
can¹t seem to find if there is a recommendation for placement the
Eye-One
with respect to the screen. I know how to use the software to
position the
Eye-One so it is pointing in the center of the screen, but what I¹m
unclear
on is how close to the screen should it be. Do I need to try to be
as close
as possible or is the angle of view on the Eye-One sufficiently
narrow that
even at a long distance it will work fairly well? Since I need the
computer
to be connected to the projector, I¹m a bit limited to just how
close I can
get to the screen.
Thanks in advance for any advice...
