Actually a dE 76 of 17 on Yellow can look like almost no difference at
all if the difference is mostly chroma.
To the
naked eye, our swatch is a tight match to theirs. For this reason, I
believe that our instrument is reading correctly. However, all three
of
theirs do not.
What is maddening is that if we are dealing with their L&P prints, the
Yellow matches across all instruments.
How does your instruments correlate on material that you have not
printed?
If the instruments are a good match on these, you may want to look at
using a different brand or formulation of Yellow ink...
