I am in the process of measuring several dozen bulbs of different
technologies and I have yet to find a bulb that comes close to the
color temperature marked on the bulb. My own readings of the Solux
bulb tend to show lower CCT than the rated value, but I want to get
better measurements so I have access today to a PR-655
spectroradiometer and I will get readings from the Solux 4700K, 5000K
clear and 5000K black bulbs. The 5000K black is a version of the 5000K
with a black coating for use in open sided fixtures. I will report the
findings when I get them later today.

Both bulbs are

They are, where? Because someone at Solux needs to fix that.
