There is a difference between 5000K black body or 5000K daylight,
and 5000K CCT (Correlated Color Temperature).
The first is two are precise colors, the latter is a range of colors.
Saying "5000K" could mean any of the above, but without the
qualification "CCT" it by default means one of the first two. The main
point of ambiguity is actually which locus, black body or daylight, and
given this is a graphic arts discussion, it's probably daylight.
