Calculating Correlated Color Temperature, a couple of references:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_temperature
http://www.usna.edu/Users/oceano/raylee/papers/RLee_AO_CCTpaper.pdf.
It is a best fit protocol because of all the peaks and spectra shapes
possible.
Here is some other MR-16 bulb CCT data some will find interesting...
Two Ushio 6500 K, 12 deg Spot bulbs, about 2 years old with 300-600+
hours on each bulb, one probably more than the other.
#1 4787 K
#2 5696 K
Two Ushio 3500 K bulbs as well, about the same age and use pattern as
the others Ushio's.
#1 3286 K
#2 3386 K
They were measured in the same manner: using an i1 Rev D (UV incl) in
Emissive-Light mode, using Robin Myers SpectraShop.
