Normally, it previews the file after converting to profile.
But if, in the View > Proof Setup > Custom, you tick
Preserve CMYK/RGB Numbers, it previews the file sent as is.
Actually even if the file is already in the destination device
space, I still go there for the Simulate Paper Color.
