Hi Peter

Considering what you have asked and assuming you would prefer to keep
costs at a minimum. Try the following and let me know how you get on.

Buy some black art board, with a DMax of 1.5 or greater (ISO black
backing spec). Cut into 4 strips appx 12cm deep to fit around your
monitor, at least 8cm finished from the screen. Imagine a hood that
completely surrounds the screen.

Keep your luminance to a minimum on screen 120cdm2 max, D50.

Put this monitor into a dimmed area no more than 500lux.

Take the monitor off of the standard stand fitting and buy and
ErgoMount "pole" mount with VESA attachment. Place the monitor at
direct central eye level and calibrate.

Now view your proof.

Lower energy will provide you with the best chance of achieving the
best uniformity across the screen and cutting out the light glare from
all angles will reduce the visible angle colour shift.

In our vast experience on the subject there are simply NO monitors
that provide perfect visual uniformity at varying angles. I say that
acknowledging that all the monitors mentioned in this thread are
excellent choices.

It will be interesting to hear how you get on, best of luck
