I don't think there is any doubt that it is designed for the market
it occupies, and is not a replacement for the i1pro. It's
packaging is neat, and is good in not having anything to get lost,
such as calibration references, ambient adapters, projection
adapters etc., as well as being more "dummy proof" in being
able to detect what the sensor position is. Whether it's
technical limitations are a problem in it's chosen market,
I don't know. From some of the enthusiastic reports, they
seem not to be.
