Ken,
I will likely be converted to RGB by using your selected Photoshop working
RGB.

Ken,
Select "Photoshop manages colors" + Abs-Col.
Select the printer profile.
De-activate color -management in the printer.
The Lab values are converted by Photoshop to the "device" (printer) RGB
which uses them directly.

Danny,
This will work if you already have a printer profile. But what is the
result
if you do not use a printer profile and print with "No Color Management"?
Does Photoshop convert to RGB or CMYK and pass that on to the driver? Does
Photoshop pass on Lab values and the printer driver converts to device
values (even with color management disabled)? I'm trying to understand
what
the processing chain would be in that situation.
My intent is to print a process control strip which is independent of a
printer profile (such as R, G, B, and neutral ramps). I understand the
process if the image is RGB, but I'm trying to figure out what would
happen
if my image was Lab instead.
