Really? I though that the JND for both was around 1, but that dE 2000

JND really means...)
To my knowledge, the intended Delta E for the JND is and was 1 for DE76,
DE94, DIN99 and DE00, but DE76 was not really visually uniform. Most
notably, distances in highly saturated colors get overrated by DE76.
Examples:
1) gray -- negligible differences between DE76, 94 and 00:
Lab1: 50 0 0
Lab2: 50 0 1
DE76: 1.00
DE94: 1.00
DE00: 0.98
2) yellow -- distance rated more than 5 times larger by DE76 than by DE00:
Lab1: 90 0 90
Lab2: 90 0 95
DE76: 5.00
DE94: 0.99
DE00: 0.97
