I recently evaluated a NEC P221w and found it very good, colorwise.
Surprising gamut. Surprising accuracy. The only problem, for my taste, was
the poor viewing angle. Something with the type of polarizing filters used
in that monitor just bugged me everytime I moved my head about while staring
at the screen. Otherwise, I think it is an excellent value.
