You know, Marco, I've looked once for such a simple lighting arrangement but
one problem that has always kept me away from experimenting further with my
ideas is the voltage stability business. I mean, once the light is on, how
do we know its output remain constant? From session to session? National
labs use expensive and complex electronics to stabilize voltage and keep the
light temperature constant. That's a whole speciality in itself. Maybe there
will be help soon from some new LED gizmo? It's surprising the slew of LED
applications, we're just beginning to scratch the surface.
