Hi all,

the media wedge CIELAB differs from the (popular) media wedge CMYK. The latter one is needed for proofing where you all CMYK char.-data might be associated to those fix CMYK values (from IFRA26 over GraCol2007 to FOGRA39).

The text files mentioned containing the subset (72 patches) out of the big test chart (ECI or IT8/7-4).

The CIELAB mediawedge was made for analysis and evaluation of gamut mapping and general color transformations. There for you have a look at the original and the transform CIELAB values ...

regards
Andy Kraushaar

PS: The CIELAB media wedge is currently not available.

Does anyone have the lab values for the Ugra/Fogra Media Wedge CIELAB.
The control bar has three sections, Ideal,Real, and minimum. Very
little info on this out there it seems.
