Ok,
big thanks for everyone who helped. Obviusly I won't try to do this at
home ;-) as it seems totally unusable.
BUT I would also like to defend my attempt of re-using old equipment and
save me "a few hundred dollars" as I asume not everyone is sitting in US
or Europe and has same access to low cost calibration tool, nor the same
budget...
Sorry if I am an intruder, but we are a small design studio sitting in
Montevideo, Uruguay- South America, far away from everything - but still
magically connected to you through the web ;-)
Thanks again!
/j
And sorry it took me some days to answer...

The calibration is based on the videocard and driver involved, so
can't be assumed accurate on another system, especially jumping from
OS 9 to OS X. Besides, calibrators have improved a lot since then, and
calibrators that old may no longer be as accurate as when they were
new, either. A new calibration tool, even a low cost one, would be a
better option.
All other considerations aside, it seems silly to go through all the pain of using older equipment (which is probably very substandard compared to what is available today) and antiquated ADB connections, etc., just for the illusion of saving a few hundred dollars -- which a business can deduct too, by the way.
