Windows additionally adds an entry in the Windows Registry.

Nikon Capture for example, grabs its profile data from the registry and it
won't see any profiles that were just copied (without 'install').

The easiest way -- shame on OSX not to do this -- is to right click on the
ICC profile(s) and select Install Profile, very first option atop the list.
That's it. Windows will then diligently copy the selected profile(s) to :

C:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\color
