This will blow everyone's mind.
Since we had no kernel panics running Color Eyes with a MacBook Pro laptop, I decided to take a stab at using the Blue Eye Pro software. My first try was much like what I saw before with Color Eyes and the entier screen going black but it didn't kernel panic. I force quit Blue Eye and tried again but this time instead of going with the Blue Eye Pro default recommendations I set the software to a LUT calibration instead of Matrix. Sure enough the program completed successfully, It took about 45 minutes but it finished. I then went back to the Mac Pro tower and set the Blue Eye software up the same as on the laptop. Nice Kernel panic before it made it's first measurement. There is something very strange going on. The laptop has an Nvidia card and the tower has an ATI card. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on???
Jim
