I think what Edmond is pointing out is that target creation and measurement in Monaco Profiler (MP) has "shifted" let's say, to XRite's free ColorPort (CP) application. Most MP users use CP to make and measure targets and then switch to MP for profile creation. In volume situations you can measure the next target in CP while MP is creating the profile from the previous measurement. Keeping them going simultaneously is nice when you've got a bunch of profiles to make.
CP is surprisingly powerful and flexible and supports a variety of other formats. With it you can measure one target and save measurement data for a variety of profiling applications, which can be handy if you want to compare profiles from different apps.
Chris, in your case you should choose to save measurement in the MonacoProfiler session format and it will switch to MP and open the measurement automatically for a pretty seamless workflow. This automatic switching was broken in Snow Leopard before this update.
