In general how are the TN panels viewed? Are they just OK, or good, or stay away from?

I have a discount coupon from Verizon for the HP store and so am thinking of replacing my Dell LCD with an HP one. Just wondered what the consensus is on these displays, (haven't seen the DreamColor displays listed on their site). Specifically I am thinking of the 2509 display.
